Hey Y’all!
How’s your weekend going?
Are you enjoying the Olympics?
I know I am!!
I’m back with another installation of Gina’s Slim Down Saturday
Although I’m a day late! (Not surprising!)
Here’s how this week went down.
Gain/Loss:
I gained a pound. I kind of expected it because last week was a rough week.
Total since starting:
-5.8 pounds still isn’t too shabby for a month!
Positives:
I tracked my food which is very helpful for me!
To Do Better:
I need to drink more water and less diet soda! Why did I even buy it?!
Goal for Next Week:
I haven’t exercised since the middle of January! I’m starting with a small goal of exercising 3 times this week.
One Word:
EFFORT! I can’t expect results if I don’t put in the effort!
As most of you know, loosing weight, eating healthy, exercising isn’t easy. And I love easy! For the past year, I’ve started and then when it got tough…I quit. So although I’m not super happy with how things are going…the fact that I haven’t quit yet is a BIG DEAL! I keep going back to my one little word.
Sometimes your up…sometimes your down…but you just have to keep moving forward! This is what is keeping me motivated. Even if everything else isn’t going the way I want!
Enjoy the rest of your Sunday!
Guess what???? GOOOOOOOO…you know what I'm talking about….pick up that glass of water and drink, Rach! I'm still proud of you!!! XOXOXOXO

You are still awesome! We had crazy weather almost every day last week again. Frustrating for my running. Enjoy your night. 🙂

Fit to be Fourth
You are doing GREAT!
I am so with you on the needing to work out and giving up when it isn't easy. I need instant gratification and not seeing the darn scale move when I DO workout and eat right makes me want to give up. BUT I have been eating a lot better, just gotta get the workout thing started again. Good luck this week!

Hi Rachel!
What a cute blog! I try to do fitness posts every Wednesday, and I just eked in before midnight this time (even though I was home all day due to snow). I can't wait to read more of your blog. Hope you're having a great week!

Young adults are already in a category that lose weight a lot faster than say someone who is 45.
I am 40 and found P90X and Insanity worked well..very well. Bill Phillips Body for Life worked very well years ago.
And I wanted something that was easier on my body, didn't take as much time, and I didn't have to think about what my next meal was going to be.
I researched and found two that my full criteria. I know there are more out there…
First I found one that is great for men and women at buildthemuscle.net.
And the one I decided to do because it has a great support system of women doing the program and finished the program, just for women, and simply laid out and guaranteed and I found it at inshapenow.net.
I'm losing on average 1 1/2 pounds a week.
I think one of the keys to success is setting yourself up for success. Find a plan that is realistic to your lifestyle so you aren't cheating or angry at yourself for missing a workout or a meal.
To your lifestyle change!
