Monday Madness

June 17, 2014 By Rachel

Hello friends!
I tried posting yesterday, but blogger was not my friend!!
What a crazy beginning to June!
Let’s back up to the last week of school!
We had pancake day!
We went to the park for our last field trip!
And had a blast at the sprinklers!
My nieces came to join the fun!
I put the kids to work cutting out lamination for next year!!
My 10th year is in the books!
So my first week of summer…wasn’t technically summer.
My district puts on a symposium every year!
It’s an amazing conference with keynote speakers and break out sessions!
Dr. Bob Marzano was my favorite!
He had a dry sense of humor…but I like him!
On the last morning of the conference, I gave my first presentation EVER!
It was a lot of fun and I can’t wait to do it again!
Then this weekend my parents moved into their HOUSE!!
If you’ve been following for awhile, you know that it’s been quite the journey!
If you have a minute or two, read my mom’s blog about here.
This was the sunset on their first night!
I can’t wait for all the sunsets sitting on their back porch!
Well hopefully I’ll be able to get back in the blogging grove and link up to all these fabulous summer parties!!  I’m also working on lots of TpT products!

I want to have a pancake day…at my house!!! I think you should come too, but p.j.'s are a must or you're not allowed to come over for pancakes. Lol!
I'm so very proud of you for doing your first presentation. The sunset looks awesome at your parents' new place! I seriously can't wait to see many more!

Wow, Rachel! You are very brave! I would be terrified to present in front of adults. Give me 100 children… but no adults. Your parents must be so happy! Have a great day! It is super sunny here and I'm off to a social studies full-day workshop. 8 more days of school!!

There's nothing like a sunset view from the comfort of your porch! I'm sure your parents are just thrilled to be in their new home. So many memories are waiting to be made! Can't wait to hear about your presentation. I'm sure it was great!
