Dream Vacations

July 18, 2014 By Rachel

Hello Drinkers!
The nickname is growing on me!
My friend, Lisa, suggested calling you Drunks!
LOL!!
Did you know it’s Friday?
I know…who keeps track these days!
It’s time to link up with Doodle Bug’s Five for Friday.
But I’m doing it differently…yet again.
I can’t be normal y’all!
I’m being me!
I haven’t done anything super fantastic this summer.
Which is totally ok!  I’ve enjoyed just relaxing!
But honestly, it’s nothing worth blogging about.
SO, I’m going to live vicariously through this post and pretend I’ve had an epic summer adventure!
(At least according to Pinterest and a bank full of money)
I went on an African Safari!
See me taking pictures with my fancy camera!
Of course, I watched the sunset in my favorite city, NYC!!
If you don’t know about the obsession, read this post!
I rode a bike on a cobblestone street in France!
I’m sure I ate delicious pastries!
I snorkeled in Australia at the Great Barrier Reef!
And last but not least, I participated in a Flash Mob!
Take that all you Vegas goers that I’m totally jealous of!!
Where would you go if money wasn’t an issue?

      Hi Rachel,

I would go and sail around the Greek Islands on a luxury yacht! Or maybe back to Rome, I loved it there. Your #4 choice is a good one – the Great Barrier Reef is absolutely gorgeous. Make sure to visit Whitehaven Beach if you ever go. 🙂

Looks like you had a fun adventure on Pinterest! lol It's too bad all of these things cost so much because we don't really have to worry about taking time off as teachers.

You are pure awesome! I have an exciting trip planned to IKEA today! The nearest one is 1 1/2 hours away so that's a total road trip, right?

I would travel to the seven Wonders of The World and then to each state's capital, taking pictures to bring back to school.

What a fantastic Five for Friday idea! If money wasn't an issue, I'd travel the west coast for a few weeks, spending a lot of time at vineyards from California to Washington. Of course, then I'd fly out of Seattle to spend a week in Bora Bora before heading to Australia. Since I'm dreaming big, I'd probably make my final stop Hawaii! I really must start playing the lotto…

You crack me up! Please keep calling us drinkers, or drunks… It gets me every time. Venice tops my list right now, but maybe staying at the Venetian in Vegas for the conference next year will be close enough!!!
