Monday Meet Me & Made It

July 1, 2014 By Rachel

Um…Summer?
Why are you in such a hurry?
I know I’m not the only one who feels this way!
I spent the day reading blogs and this seems to be what everyone is feeling!
I mean, who doesn’t love spending the day at the pool!
Especially when I’m with my cute nieces!
I must say WELCOME to all my new followers!!
I made it over the 200 mark this weekend!
Thanks Y’all!!
(There will be a celebration soon!)
I thought it would be fun to join The Teaching Tribune for Monday Meet-Up.
I also wanted to share an amazing dinner that I made last week!
Now…let me say upfront that I don’t cook often.
So when I do…it’s always EASY with few ingredients!
I made Rootbeer BBQ Pulled Pork with Roasted Potatoes!
It was DELISH!!
I got the recipe from The Frugal Girls website.
I just put a pork tenderloin, bottle of bbq sauce, and half a can of root beer in a crock pot on low for 7 hours!
It’s that easy people!
The roasted potatoes were just as easy!
I cut up 10 small red potatoes.
Put them in a foiled pan and drizzled with olive oil.
Sprinkled garlic salt and pepper on top.
I added some butter for extra yumminess!
Covered the tin foil and baked at 400 for 30 minutes!
See…I told you it was easy!
I’m linking these 2 fabulous parties!
Click on the pictures below to read more awesomeness!

Have a great Monday night!

I've never seen a pulled pork recipe using a tenderloin and adding the BBQ to the crock pot with the soda! Neat! Love how simple the potatoes are too, saving that one.

Hey Rachel, I'm so close… I'm at 198 followers on bloglovin'. I would burst with excitement to hit 200 this summer! I LOVE pulled pork! I do it in the Crock Pot so my house doesn't get too hot. Your potatoes look delish! Have a great night!

Hey lady! It made me laugh when you talked about "computer friends," because my husband always picks on me for having more "Instagram friends" than real friends. He obviously doesn't understand we're networking here!! 😉 Your dinner looked fabulous, friend! Enjoy that pool before the craziness starts again! Aaaaaand! Congrats again on your milestone. You're something like a rock star!

Kristin it really was so tasty! I've tried a pulled pork crock pot in the past and didn't think it was that great, but this one was!

You had me at potatoes. I'm a potato eatin' fool. If it weren't for the potato, I'd starve to death. And those roasted potatoes look delish! LOVE roasted potatoes. {Can u tell I like potatoes?} : )

The pulled pork recipe looks fantastic! I am saving that one. Anytime I can cook in the crock pot, especially during the school year, the better. Congrats on your milestone! I agree the summer is going by way too fast. Have a great week.

Woohoo, congrats on your 200 followers!!! 🙂 Also, crockpot pulled pork is one of my go-to recipes…I love anything I can throw in the crockpot and call it "cooking." 😉 My husband is allergic to chicken which makes dinner hard…on top of the fact that I'm not a fan of cooking. Anyway, pulled pork has become a staple around here 😉

I'm coming to your house for dinner because you KNOW I won't be making dinner. I am thankful that you have a loving family. I'm thankful for your computer friends because they are my friends too and let's just go ahead and admit how amazing we all are. Yeah…I said it. I'm also thankful for your DVR so we have something to talk about besides boring teacher stuff sometimes. I'm super duper proud of you for your 200 followers. Just know I'm your number 1 fan follower! 🙂

Oh my gosh, I have a pork tenderloin in the fridge right now!! I may be changing my Wednesday night dinner plan! If you like BBQ, check out my post of Crock-Pot Ribs. I posted it in the "Eating, Drinking, and Linking" linky party. They literally fell off the bone while I was trying to pull the rack out of the Crock-Pot! We're huge BBQ fans – can't wait to try your recipe!
