My Fall Adventures

November 25, 2014 By Rachel

Hi Strangers!
Actually, you’re probably thinking…
“Who is this Tall Drink of Water blogger?”
Yes, I’m the stranger…and for many reasons that I will not go in to.
Let’s just say…it has taken a lot longer than 21 days to form good habits and break the bad!!
🙂
So it’s been a busy, stressful fall and I’m SUPER thankful that we have the whole week off for Thanksgiving!!!!
I did want to share with you some of the better parts of my fall!
Our Donor’s Choose project was fully funded!
Actually everyone in the tri-county area had their projects fully funded!
It was a grand day!!
The kids were so excited when our Hokki Stools arrived!
They have helped so much with our wiggles!!
We are also officially one-to-one with iPads!!
This cart sat in our room and teased us for about a month!
There have been a lot of technical glitches!
But mid-October we were given the go ahead and it’s been AWESOME!
It has upped our engagement and collaboration!
My niece turned 5!
Of course it was Frozen themed.
And I feel I am partially responsible for her obsession!
I took her last winter to see her first movie in the theater.
We celebrated in style at my parents house!
My mom wrote a great blog post about it here.
These 3 have my heart!
I swear I don’t think I could love anyone as much as I do these 3 munchkins!
So I saved the best part of Fall for last!
As you may know, my brother has been deployed since May.
(He comes home in 10 days!)
My sister-in-love wanted to do something special with Tyler and invited me to go!
I hadn’t been to Disney World since I was 6!!
I was like a little kid!
I am officially Disney obsessed!
Thanks for listening to my ramblings of fall!
I am so thankful for my readers!
See you soon!!

Hi Rachel! I love your new stools! I have never seen those before. And those iPad stand look amazing!! We have two new laptop carts on our floor with 30 laptops in each. They are so much better than our old netbooks. Bring on the iPads! Happy Thanksgiving, my American friend. <3

I love those stools! I've been wanting to write a Donors Choose project to get a class set of those stools. Was it hard to do? Love the Disney pics! What fun! So glad your brother us almost home!

I only have about 10 minutes before I lose them! 🤪
And I don’t know about you but my lessons are typically longer…so I try to mix it up every 10 minutes with a Think-Pair-Share or some kind of movement
