It’s Summertime!

June 12, 2015 By Rachel

Hello Friends!
It’s been a REALLY long time since I’ve posted.
So I’m dusting off my little corner of the blog world to say how much I’ve missed this!!
I’ve officially been on summer for a week and it’s been glorious!
I figured I’d link up with Kacey to catch you up on this life of mine.
I shared on Instagram last week, that I said goodbye to my school of 11 years!
It was bittersweet, but I know I’m making the right move for me.
I’m looking forward to the new adventure.
 Speaking of moving…
I’ve also been packing my little one bedroom apartment and it is crazy how much stuff I have!
Seriously, I’m one box away from an episode of Hoarders.
When I’m not packing, I’m Netflixing.
Scandal is my latest obsession, but Orange is the New Black was just released!
 Between packing and Netflixing,
I’ve been “planning” my color scheme/theme for my new classroom.
I use the term planning loosely, because I’ve just been pinning ideas.
Whatcha’ think?
This is pretty much life right now and I’m loving every minute!
Hope you’re enjoying your summer break!
And if you’re not on break then hang in there…
Because I’ll be jealous of you when I’m back to work in August!

Moving sounds like a great idea until we started packing! Tell me about it!!!

Moving always sounds like a good idea until you start packing…I can totally empathize with that. I just moved into my room this year & wanted to move rooms for next year to be close to my classes math teacher. Once the packing started it was like "Oh boy, whose idea was this!!!" Good luck in the next chapter of your life. I hope it's an incredible journey.

Where are you moving to fellow South Carolinian!?! And I'd say the second color scheme…but I do love the brightness of the first!

I took Netflixing to a new level when my husband was deployed a few years ago. I watched all season of Nip/Tuck, Rescue Me, and Weeds in one summer. It was pretty impressive! I've yet to watch Orange, but I want to Netflix binge on House of Cards since I've only done one season of that. Your second color scheme is a lot like my current one, but I love both! Best of luck with your move!

If you don't have Gossip Girl, One Tree Hill and Pretty Little Liars on your list…I might disown you. If you have already watched them, we are good. If not, get on that after Scandal and OITNB!
