Happy Twenty Sixteen!

January 2, 2016 By Rachel

Happy New Year Friends!
I’m joining two of my favorite ladies for their #2getherwearebetter linky!
If you do not follow Ashley or Angie, you need to do so immediately!

I love that as a teacher, I get 2 new years!
The new school year and the new calendar year!
2015 was a good year for me!
I spent some time reflecting on the best parts a few days ago.
The addition of my nephew!
Moving to a different school after 11 years!
My first blogger meet up!
Time with friends and family!
I also spent some time thinking about what I want in 2016!
I love setting goals, even if I don’t always meet them!
So for the past two years, I’ve done the whole one little word thing.
You can read about 2014’s word “Moving Forward” here.
And 2015’s word “Joy” here.
I love the One Little Word idea because it gives you a focus that you can apply in all areas of your life!
 For 2016, my
I want to live a courageous life!
Many times I tend to sit back and observe life, but I want to jump in and enjoy it!
I want to do things I’ve never done before!
I want to get out of my comfort zone!
I want to be courageous in my classroom, in my business, and in my relationships!
I want to take leaps of faith!
What are your plans and goals for 2016?
Do you have one little word that you’re believing for this year?
I’d love to know and believe with you!!

I love the word you chose! I think often as teachers we are such pleasers and helpers that we often do not have the courage to set outside of that role! Enjoy 2016 and have lots and lots of fun!! Can't wait to keep up with all your happenings on Instagram!

Rachel I love your word. As I have reflected on 2015, I have decided my word needs to be patience. I usually have a lot of patience, but the 2015 school year I seem to be lacking in that area. So for the calendar year 2016 that is my goal the have more patience.
